Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath has said that he is not in favor of giving up momentum in the bowling to establish control. He said that pace is something that cannot be taught to a bowler, so the pace should not be reduced. He also gave a statement about Umran Malik.

According to a report, McGrath said that the pace bowling is unparalleled and that one can't teach someone to bowl over 150, they should be able to do that naturally and that he hates to see bowlers slow down to gain control.

He also said that he like to see bowlers bowling at top pace, working hard on the controls, putting in time and effort in the nets to get to know their game as it is very rare to bowl at a speed of more than 150 KMPH. "I don't like to see fast bowlers slow down to gain control."

Regarding Umran Malik, McGrath said that he haa not seen much bowling of Umran Malik, but the fact that he can bowl at a good pace is affecting.

McGrath is a Director at MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai. He said that he comes to India thrice every year to groom the players. He said that he looks after for some fast bowlers who could bowl pace bowling in the future.

Significantly, fast bowlers have always dominated in world cricket. Although McGrath himself was a medium pace bowler but his line and length were better than other bowlers. This is the reason why he is counted among the world's greatest bowlers.
