"I will put him ahead of everyone including Rishabh Pant",  Harbhajan Singh reveals the player who must be India's first-choice wicket-keeper for T20 WC

At the moment, Rishabh Pant is the first-choice wicket-keeper for Team India across all the formats of the game. However, former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh has reckoned that based on the current form, Pant can be beaten by another player to the role in the T20 format. Dinesh Karthik has been in exceptional form this season

DK is one cricketer who has sort of revived his career in the ongoing edition of IPL. The veteran, in seven games, has scored 210 runs at a strike rate of above 200. His average is 210 and considering his poor form over the last two seasons, it has been a terrific turnaround for the player. After his performances, many have been giving opinions that DK must be considered for the finisher's role in India's T20 XI.

Harbhajan feels DK must be in the Indian squad

Speaking to Sportskeeda, the former spinner opined, "He [Dinesh Karthik] was getting dismissed in a crunch situation but he's now helping Bangalore win from that position. He is winning you games... I will put him ahead of everyone including Rishabh Pant. He should be your first choice going to Australia."

Team India has struggled in the finishing department for a while now. DK is really good against the pacers and with the T20 World Cup being held in Australia, the Tamil Nadu man can be of good use. On the other hand, although Pant is not doing that well in IPL, he is undroppable from the Indian XI. For Team India, he has been in good form and a left-hander in the middle-order is necessary. Hence, he might not be dropped but DK could still get his chance.
