IPL 2023 Mini Auction date could be postponed; Here's why

All the 10 IPL teams are busy in their respective preparations before the mini auction 2023. Till the trading window valid till 15 November, all the teams have released the list of released and retained players. Most of the teams have shown faith in their previous players while some teams want to rebuild their squad.

Let us tell you that for IPL 2023 mini auction, BCCI has decided to conduct it in Kochi on 23rd December next month. However, it is being claimed in some media reports that some teams may request the board to change the date of the auction.

Let us tell you that out of all the ten teams involved in the IPL, most of them are in trouble as the support staff of most of the teams will not be available on this occasion due to Christmas. And the same thing is troubling the teams that how they will make their plan in the auction without support staff.

However, till now no official statement has been issued by the board regarding this, and it is not clear whether BCCI will agree to change the date of IPL auction or not. But the teams believe that the auction date should be extended.

Well, the final decision on this will be taken by the BCCI, now it will be worth seeing whether the board accepts this demand of the franchisees or not. Let us tell you that the mini auction for IPL 2023 has been scheduled on December 23 in Kochi.

On the other hand, if we talk about some of the big players involved in this mini auction, then Kane Williamson, Mayank Agarwal, Sam Curran, Cameron Green and Ben Stokes are going to be a part of this auction. Adil Rashid, who performed brilliantly in the T20 World Cup 2022, has also shown interest in participating in the tournament as well as former England captain Joe Root.
