He has served for the country for the 15 years since making his debut for the West Indies cricket team. He put the matter of his retirement in front of the world through social media. Pollard's retirement is definitely a big setback for the West Indies team and for his fans.

But the veteran also ensured that even though his International career is over, he will continue to play T20 cricket league around the world, including the Indian Premier League (IPL).

And for those who loves to see Pollard smacking the ball out of the park, there is a good news for them. The veteran is set to wearing the colours of Surrey County Cricket team in the upcoming T20 Blast in England. In which if all goes well, Kieron Pollard will be seen playing in Surrey's team with fellow countrymen and mystery spinner Sunil Narine.

According to ESPNcricinfo, Pollard was asked by two teams regarding the upcoming T20 Blast whether he would play in the tournament which is scheduled to start on the May 25th. Let us tell you that at present, Kieron Pollard is playing for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. Pollard's performance in this tournament has been mediocre, but in the coming matches, everyone would like Pollard to return to his old-self soon.

Mumbai Indians have played a total of 9 matches so far in the competition this year, out of which they have lost 8 matches in a row.

However, it must be noted that Pollard may not be available for the entire T20 Blast tournament, because, along with this, the former Caribbean skipper will also take part in the second edition of 'The Hundred'. He will be representing the London Spirit franchise in the competition and was their first pick in the draft.
