India has as many as three players from RCB in the squad. In fact, all three - Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik and Harshal Patel, are likely to be a part of the playing XI. The same is the case with Australia, for whom Glenn Maxwell and Josh Hazlewood will form an integral part. While Wanindu Hasaranga is the lead spinner for Sri Lanka, Finn Allen and David Willey are also likely to get a few opportunities at the upcoming event.

RCB need two or three apt signings to improve the squad

RCB might need an additional reliable domestic pacer as a backup because Harshal Patel and Mohammed Siraj are not in great form at the moment. While this is one area of improvement, RCB should also consider Faf du Plessis' position in the team because he and Virat opening together might not be the best option. If they part ways with Faf, RCB will have to look for a left-handed opener. The franchise could also target someone like Ben Stokes for IPL 2023.
