"My husband is on fire" - Sanjana Ganesan reacts to Bumrah's five-wicket haul against Kolkata Knight Riders
The 56th match of the TATA IPL 2022 is underway and the four-time champions, Mumbai Indians, are taking on the two-time champions, Kolkata Knight Riders, at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. The MI skipper, Rohit Sharma, won the toss and elected to bowl first. However, KKR had a really good start to their innings.

In a do or die match, KKR went to the opening pair that they started the season with. At the top, they had Venkatesh Iyer and Ajinkya Rahane. Both batters did start well and added 60 runs for the first wicket within the power-play. In particular, Venkatesh Iyer played an aggressive role and smashed MI bowlers. The all-rounder scored a quick 43 runs off just 24 balls, including three boundaries and four maximums.

The all-rounder got out to Kumar Kartikeya, and it was Nitish Rana who was promoted to No. 3 ahead of skipper Shreyas Iyer. He, along with Rahane, steadied the innings and took the momentum forward. The former Indian Test skipper got out after scoring 25 off 24 balls. Nitish Rana then played a good innings of 42 off 26 balls. But once the left-hander got out, KKR just fell like a deck of cards.

From 123/2, KKR lost their next seven wickets for just 41 runs and were reduced to 164/9. However, they ended their batting innings at 165/9 in their 20 overs, courtesy of a thundering spell from Mi ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah. He just demolished the KKR batting line-up single-handedly and registered an incredible figure of 5/10 in his four overs.

Bumrah, who struggled to take wickets in the first half of the competition, changes the whole scenario of the match. Notably, his wife, Sanjana Ganesan, was so excited by the performance of her husband that she took to Twitter and prasied her husband.

Bumrah bowled the 18th over of the innings for no runs and took three wickets to dent the KKR's chances of reaching 180. Then he came back in the 20th over and gave away just one run. However, he didn't get any wickets in the final over, but he did a fantastic job of giving away nothing.
