"My vote goes for.."- AB de Villiers picks his two teams for a 'mouthwatering' T20 WC final
Thus, the predictions have already started, and everyone is naming their teams that will play in the final. Many believe that it will be a rematch of the 2019 ODI World Cup final between England and New Zealand.
While some believe that it will be a mega-clash between India and Pakistan. Notably, India and New Zealand have shown some great form in the group stage and have topped their respective groups. On the other hand, England edges past the defending champions Australia to qualify for the semi-final because of a better NRR.
However, the luckiest team in the competition was the Men in Green, who had the most dramatic entry on the last day of the group stage. It was South Africa who were supposed to qualify for the semis, but their loss to the Netherlands pushed Pakistan to enter the semis with a win over Bangladesh.
Now, New Zealand will face Pakistan in the first semi-final on Wednesday, November 9 at the Sydney Cricket Ground, while India will compete with England in the second semi-final on Thursday, November 10 at the Adelaide Oval.
Amid all these predictions, former South African skipper and "Mr. 360" AB de Villiers has also predicted two teams that he wants to play in the final of the tournament. De Villiers opened a poll on his official Twitter account to determine whether it would be an IND-PAK final or not.
As per expectations, 70 percent of votes were there for the IND-PAK final. Later, De Villiers himself revealed that he also wants these two teams to lock horns in the final on November 13 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Notably, India and Pakistan met on October 23 at the MCG, which resulted in one of the best games of T20 cricket. It was India that came out victorious due to the heroics of Virat Kohli. However, if these two teams once again meet in the final, then it will surely break all records.
