Almost every Twitter user would know that there is a rivalry between two England women’s cricket team stars, namely Kate Cross and Alex Hartley as they support the Chennai Super Kings and the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League, respectively.

Yesterday in IPL 2022, there was an El Clasico match between the Chennai Super Kings and the Mumbai Indians, where the Chennai-based franchise emerged victorious by three wickets.

Dhoni finished things off in style once again as his heroics inspired the Chennai Super Kings to their second win of the season. The right-handed batter smashed 16 runs off the last four balls to help CSK win the game in the 20th over.

Jaydev Unadkat was the bowler who bowled the last over of the match. He had 17 runs to defend off the final six balls. It is a comparatively easier task, but not when someone like Dhoni is in the middle.

Unadkat dismissed Dwaine Pretorius LBW on the first ball of the over. Then, Dwayne Bravo guided a ball to the leg-side, took a single and gave the strike to the great finisher MS Dhoni.

The legendary wicket-keeper then smacked a six down the ground to bring the equation down to 10 off 3. A top-edge helped him score four runs on the next ball. On the fifth ball, Bravo and Dhoni ran two runs, leaving CSK requiring four off the last ball.

Kate Cross watched the match between the Chennai Super Kings and the Mumbai Indians live in the UK

Alexandra Hartley posted a photo of Kate Cross watching the match live on TV. She was amazed by the finish from MS Dhoni in the last over of the match. Here’s what Cross wrote after quoting the photo from Hartley after Dhoni won the game:

"Never in doubt...@ChennaiIPL.. always @msdhoni."
