Predicted playing 11 of all IPL franchises for IPL 2023

IPL 2023 Auctions ended on December 23rd in Kochi. It was a memorable affair with many records being broken. On that note, in this article, we predict the playing 11 of all IPL franchises for IPL 2023.

Chennai Super Kings

CSK made a top signing but missed out on an apt replacement for Dwayne Bravo. Nevertheless, they have a potent squad for the next season.

Predicted XI: Ben Stokes, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja, MS Dhoni (C&WK), Shivam Dube, Dwaine Pretorius, Deepak Chahar, Maheesh Theekshana and Mukesh Choudhary.

Delhi Capitals

DC got its bowling attack wrong and invested in the wrong players. However, the signing of Rilee Rossouw could be vital for them.

Predicted XI: David Warner, Prithvi Shaw, Rilee Rossouw, Rishabh Pant (C&WK), Sarfaraz Khan, Rovman Powell, Axar Patel, Anrich Nortje, Kuldeep Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed and Chetan Sakariya.

Gujarat Titans

GT made some budget signings and all these players could end up playing a vital role for them next season.

Predicted XI: Shubman Gill, Matthew Wade (WK), B Sai Sudharsan, Hardik Pandya (C), David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, R Sai Kishore, Mohammed Shami, Alzarri Joseph and Yash Dayal.

Lucknow Super Giants

Barring Nicholas Pooran, most of the other signings made by LSG were backups. They have a solid middle order for IPL 2023.

Predicted XI: KL Rahul (C), Quinton de Kock (WK), Deepak Hooda, Nicholas Pooran, Ayush Badoni, Marcus Stoinis, Krunal Pandya, Mark Wood, Avesh Khan, Mohsin Khan and Ravi Bishnoi.

Kolkata Knight Riders

KKR actually has a balanced setup but it is upto the players to now step up.

Predicted XI: N Jagadeesan (WK), Venkatesh Iyer, Shreyas Iyer, Nitish Rana, Shakib Al Hasan, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Shardul Thakur, Lockie Ferguson, Umesh Yadav and Varun CV.

Mumbai Indians

MI might have missed a trick by not investing in an Indian pacer but their batting attack is extremely powerful.

Predicted XI: Rohit Sharma (C), Ishan Kishan (WK), Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Tristan Stubbs, Tim David, Cameron Green, Kumar Kartikeya, Jofra Archer, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshad Khan.

Punjab Kings

Punjab Kings did not add much after signing Sam Curran. It will be interesting to see how the management will field a balanced squad.

Predicted XI: Shikhar Dhawan (C), Jonny Bairstow, Prabhsimran Singh, Liam Livingstone, Jitesh Sharma (WK), Shahrukh Khan, Sam Curran, Harpreet Brar, Kagiso Rabada, Rahul Chahar and Arshdeep Singh.

Rajasthan Royals

RR added Jason Holder to the ranks and he will provide the much-needed balance to the squad.

Predicted XI: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson (C&WK), Devdutt Padikkal, Riyan Parag, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder, R Ashwin, Prasidh Krishna, Trent Boult and Yuzvendra Chahal.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

None of RCB's signings at the auctions could make it to the strongest XI for IPL 2023.

Predicted XI: Faf du Plessis (C), Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, Dinesh Karthik (WK), Shahbaz Ahmed, Mahipal Lomror, Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, Josh Hazlewood and Mohammed Siraj.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

SRH has added Mayank Agarwal and Harry Brook, both players who have to do well for them.

Predicted XI: Mayank Agarwal, Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram, Harry Brook, Glenn Phillips, Washington Sundar, Adil Rashid, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan and Umran Malik.
