Rashid Khan reveals the names of three batters for his "Dream Hat-trick"

Rashid Khan is one of the best exponents of the cricket ball in the current generation. The Afghan superstar is always among the wickets whenever he steps onto the field. It is common for batters to struggle against Rashid. That is what he is doing in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. 

The 23-year-old is representing the new franchise, Gujarat Titans, in the TATA IPL 2022. He is currently the vice-captain of the team and has captained in one match in the absence of Hardik Pandya. So far, he has taken six wickets in six matches at an excellent economy rate of 6.66.

However, there are a few batters that Rashid himself admires. Talking about his IPL records, he has taken 99 wickets in 82 matches at an average of 20.93 and an economy rate of 6.36. He has troubled many world-class batters in his IPL career. On Saturday, Rashid reveals the name of three batters that he wants in his dream hat-trick.

During an interaction on the YouTube channel, 12th Khiladi, he was asked about his dream hat-trick. He named three batters from India, Pakistan, and New Zealand. Rashid said that he wants Virat (Kohli), Babar Azam and Kane Williamson in his dream hat-trick in the IPL. Although he was in the Sunrisers Hyderabad team along with Williamson, he left the franchise ahead of the acution and joined the Gujarat Titans.

Notably, he is not just doing it with his ball for GT. He showed his batting skills in the last match against the defending champions, the Chennai Super Kings. Chasing the target, he came to bat in a crunch situation. Needing 48 off the last three overs, he smashed 25 runs off the 18th over from Chris Jordan. He made 40 runs off just 21 balls and helped his team inch closer to the win. David Miller then finished the game for GT on the last ball.
