Here's why Ravindra Jadeja hand-over CSK captaincy back to MS Dhoni
The defending champions, Chennai Super Kings, have not performed as per expectations this season. And there might be many reasons behind this. But one of them was, as many ex-cricketers also questioned the change in captaincy, too, just before the start of the tournament. However, that change might have backfired on CSK.
Jadeja to handover CSK captaincy back to MS Dhoni:Ravindra Jadeja has decided to relinquish captaincy to focus and concentrate more on his game & has requested MS Dhoni to lead CSK. MS Dhoni has accepted to lead CSK in the larger interest & to allow Jadeja to focus on his game.

Dhoni captained CSK in 204 matches, out of which he won 121 times, for a winning percentage of 59.60. He tasted defeat in 82 games, while one match ended with no result. He has led CSK to four IPL titles in the seasons of 2010, 2011, 2018, and 2021. Dhoni has also led CSK to two Champions Trophy titles.
CSK are sitting at the bottom of the points table with six losses from eight matches. Dhoni will captain the side in their next encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Sunday.
