Rishabh Pant or Sanju Samson? Aakash Chopra predicts Team India's Playing XI for 2nd ODI vs New Zealand

After defeating New Zealand 1-0 in the three-match T20I series earlier, the Indian team suffered a defeat in the opening match of the ODI series by 7 wickets. The next match of the series is to be played on 27th of November.

Let us tell you that the ODI World Cup is to be played in 2023 and all the teams are already preparing for this big spectacle. The Indian team will include its best players in the ODI World Cup team through this series.

Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami have been rested for the New Zealand tour while youngsters have been given a chance to shine. The T20I team was led by Hardik Pandya while the ODI team is led by Shikhar Dhawan.

With this, former India opener Aakash Chopra has predicted his possible playing XI for the 2nd ODI that starts tomorrow. According to him, the team would like to keep depth in their batting, like the last match.

Aakash Chopra believes that Sanju Samson will be included in the team in this match well after his performance in the previous match. Let us tell you, Samson did not get to play a single match in the entire T20I series.

Aakash Chopra said in his YouTube channel, 'Let's try to choose the playing XI for the 2nd ODI. Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill will be the two openers. Shreyas Iyer will come to bat at number three and Suryakumar Yadav at number four. Rishabh Pant can come at number five while Sanju Samson will play at six."

Chopra further said that he is picking 3 all-rounders in the team, they are Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar. He also added that both Arshdeep Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal are also likely to be part of the Playing XI.
