Said it a few times earlier, will say it once more - Aakash Chopra names Jordan's replacement after CSK's loss against GT

Another day, another heartbreak for the fans of the Chennai Super Kings. On Sunday, they locked horns with the new franchise Gujarat Titans at MCA Stadium. But the match ended in a thriller as GT won the match in the last over of the innings. GT won the toss and asked CSK to bat first on a pitch that was a two-pace wicket. CSK didn't start well and lost two quick wickets in the power-play. But then came the game-changing partnership between Ruturaj Gaikwad and veteran Ambati Rayudu. Both batsmen played some powerful shots and added 92 runs for the third wicket.

Opener Ruturaj, who had a terrible start to the season, scored a magnificent half-century. The right-hander scored 73 runs off just 48 balls, including five fours and five sixes. Rayudu fell just four runs short of a well-deserved half-century and scored 46 runs off 31 balls, including four boundaires and two sixes. In the end, with a cameo from skipper Ravindra Jadeja (22* off 12 balls), CSK ended the innings with 169/5 in their 20 overs.

Chasing the target, GT's batting top-order looked quite ordinary in the absence of regular skipper Hardik Pandya and fell apart. At one stage, GT was struggling at 48/4 in just eight overs. And it looked pretty easy for CSK from there on. But the veteran middle-order batsman, David Miller, held one end of the innings. But still, it was totally the game of the Chennai Super Kings. GT required 48 runs in the last three overs, with Miller and skipper Rashid at the crease. But then happened the unexpected, when England pacer Chris Jordan came to bowl the 18th over of the innings.

Skipper Rashid Khan, who was struggling to time the ball and was batting at 8 runs off 12 balls, smashed Jordan's first ball for six over the leg side. He followed that with two more sixes and one boundary. Rashid scored 25 runs off that over from Jordan and the match totally shifted towards GT's side. However, the skipper got out in the next over, but it was too late. CSK skipper Jadeja once again brought Jordan to bowl the final over, with 13 runs to defend.

But David Miller won the match and scored the required 13 runs in just five balls, winning the match for his team. However, it didn't go well for CSK and many questioned the decision of bringing the English pacer to bowl the final over. Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra, who has been saying to remove Jordan from the team, took the chance and came up with another tweet.

The England pacer ended the match with an expensive figure of 58/0 in 3.5 overs. The over to Rashid Khan, without a doubt, was the game-changer, and it was there that CSK lost the game. He also became the second bowler with the most expensive figure for CSK in the IPL.
