Former Australian cricket team all-rounder Shane Watson has made his prediction regarding which two teams according to him will make it to the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2021-2023 edition.

As of writing this article, South Africa is currently dominating at the very top of the points table with a win percentage of 75 percentage. The Aussies are right behind them in 2nd place with 70 percentage and they are both followed by Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan.

The final of the first edition of the World Test Championship (WTC) in 2019-2021 was played between New Zealand and the Indian cricket team which the former won. However, this term, they have been struggling a lot and it is almost impossible for them to make it to the final of World Test Championship (WTC) 2021-2023 edition.

This time's World Test Championship battle for the top 2 has been very intense throughout the edition and there is still option for Sri Lanka, India and even Pakistan to enter into the Top 2 to make it to the Lord's.

Meanwhile, former Australian cricketer and all-rounder Shane Watson has picked 2 finalists for the World Test Championship 2021-2023 season. Shane Watson was quoted by the ICC as saying that it will be unbelievable if South Africa and Australia doesn't make it to the final of the World Test Championship 2021-2023.

"Right now, the way I see it, it’s going to be hard for South Africa and Australia to not make it. They’re both playing really good cricket," Watson said.

While talking about the chances of India or Pakistan making it to the final, Watson added that they can't be ruled out and that he would be really surprised if one of the two teams doesn't challenge for the top 2.

"You can never discount India and Pakistan because they’ve got so many match winners outside of their home countries as well. Those two, I’d be very surprised if they don’t come knocking on the door leading into the final," the Aussie signed-off.
