Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team included England's explosive batsman Alex Hales in their team during the IPL 2022 Mega Auction in February, however, due to Hales' decision not to play in the IPL, KKR's think-tank decided to include Australia's limited overs captain Aaron Finch into the squad as Hales' replacement.

However, the Australian captain has so far had a really bad season. So far, he has scored only 86 runs in five matches at an average of 17.20 with his highest score of 58 against Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Kolkata Knight Riders did not include Aaron Finch in the playing XI in their last match against Mumbai Indians (MI). And, looking at his performance in the tournament, former Indian team cricketer Wasim Jaffer has reacted to Aaron Finch's performance and him playing for 9 teams in his IPL career.

Wasim Jaffer, while talking on 'Not Just Cricket Show', said that Finch has played for a total of 9 franchises in IPL so far which is a record in itself but somewhere it reflects his performance which has been quite unstable. He further said that Finch has not been picked by KKR keeping in view his form in the IPL but because of his stature.

He further said that Finch has lost his aggressive batting approach, due to which, bowlers are finding it easy to get him out.

He further said that Finch has always been known as a swashbuckling batsman but now his game has changed a lot. He added that the bowlers are no longer afraid of him and they take his wicket easily.
