"This too shall pass" - Babar Azam post a beautiful message for off-form Virat Kohli

Virat and Babar

The current forms of Virat Kohli and Babar Azam are very different from one another. The current Pakistani cricket team captain is having a tremendous run, whereas the previous Indian cricket team captain is going through the toughest time of his career. The two have frequently been contrasted with one another. The friendship between the two has remained intact, though. Babar Azam had some encouraging words for India's star player, Virat Kohli after he was dismissed for 16 in the second ODI against England.

Babar Azam posted an image of him being with Kohli and wrote “This too shall pass. Stay strong”. This quickly went trending on the internet on Thursday. Everyone might have seen Babar and Virat as competitors but this nice gesture from Babar Azam took everyone by surprise.

Over the past few years, Babar Azam's rise in Pakistan and the world of cricket has been quite consistent. His talent quickly became apparent, and after some thrilling outings with the bat, he quickly rose to the top of the international rankings. Later, he received a promotion to captain Pakistan and many former cricket players feel that Babar is currently the best batsmen in the world.

On Sunday, July 17, at Manchester's Old Trafford, there will be the third and final ODI of the series. This will be the must win encounter for both the teams as the series victory is on the line. Rohit Sharma will look to win the first limited overs series in England as a Captain

Babar will now serve as Pakistan's captain throughout the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. On Saturday, July 16, the red-ball series is set to begin at the Galle International Stadium. In recent months, Babar has played exceptionally well, particularly in ODI and T20 matches of cricket. He is also close to reaching 10,000 runs in all three forms for the Pakistan national team. India and Pakistan will go head to head in the Asia Cup in the month of August and later in the T20 World Cup in Australia.
