Virat Kohli needs to return to form
Virat Kohli is struggling to make runs in Tests. It has been more than two years since he has made a century in any format of the game. For a player of his stature, this is disappointing. With a few games lined up in India, it was expected that Virat would do well. However, that has not happened. He got three opportunities against Sri Lanka but could not make it count. In the T20I and ODI series that happened in the last month also, Virat did not look to be in good form. The focus now shifts to IPL 2022. It is important that he regains confidence in the tournament. This will help India going forward with the important tournaments scheduled for the rest of the year. India's next Test assignment will be against England in July. That game will complete the series that was put on hold last year.
