The Nellai Royal Kings and Dindigul Dragons faced off in the seventh match of the sixth season of the Tamil Nadu Premier League on June 30 at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul. Due to rain, the game was shortened to 12 overs per side. The Dindigul Dragons got 130 on the board after being asked to bat first, due to contributions from Vishal Vaidhya scored 45 runs and CSK player Hari Nishanth scored 37 runs. Sri Neranjan finished with three wickets, giving the Royal Kings a total of five wickets.

 

The Nellai Royals Kings didn't get off to the greatest of stars in their pursuit of the score, but an unbroken 99-run stand between Baba Aparajith (59* off 30 balls) and Sanjay Yadav (55* off 19 balls) enabled them to complete the target with one over remaining. Despite their best efforts, the Dragons were only able to pick up two wickets and could not hold the total.

After making a significant contribution in the match between the Nellai Royal Kings and the Dindigul Dragons, Sanjay Yadav has moved up to the top spot. He batted at 34/2 in the fifth over and quickly reached fifty to assist his team reach 131 with six balls remaining. Yadav need only 19 balls for his innings of 55*. With 142 runs in three games, he is at the top of the leaderboard.

 

In the sixth season of the TNPL, Sanjay Yadav is on a roll with both the bat and the ball. He is presently in first place on the list after taking four wickets in three games. Yadav has a stellar 20.50 average.

 

In this year’s edition, Hari Nishanth, the captain of the Dindigul Dragons, scored 37 goals against the Nellai Royal Kings. In three games, he has scored 122 runs and is batting at an average of 40.67. In this season of the TNPL, Nishanth has been one of his team's most reliable performances.
