Watch: Ravi Ashwin's hilarious way of identifying his clothes has left fans rolling on the floor
However, one of the prime reasons that fans are loving this edition is that there have been some big upsets that have been the spotlight of this competition. The tournament has entered its business end, with the top four teams fighting for the ultimate glory.
India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and England are the four teams that have qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament. However, apart from on-field actions, there have been some unexpected moments that have caught the attention of the cricketing world. One such moment happened ahead of the game between India and Zimbabwe on Sunday.
And this time it was veteran Indian off-spinner Ravi Ashwin who was caught finding his clothes in a rather weird and funny way. It happened during the toss in IND-ZIM clash. The Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first.
But the camerman spotted Ashwin in the background, who was finding his clothes by smelling them hilariously. Notably, there were two jackets on the ground; Ashwin picked up both and smelled them to recognise which one he wore during the training session. Within just a short span of time, the video went viral, creating a meme feast on social media platforms.

India registered an easy 71-run victory against Zimbabwe in their last group match to end at the top. They will now face England in the second semi-final at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday, November 10. Ashwin has been the first-choice spinner in the team for India.
On the other hand, veteran leg-spinner Yuzi Chahal has been warming up the match and hasn't had a chance to feature in anyone of the games so far. Ashwin ended up picking three wickets against Zimbabwe. So it will be interesting to see if India will change their tactics and pick Chahal or if they will stick with Ashwin in the semi-final against England.
