One such name that has impressed everyone with his consistency is English batter Will Jacks, who is the second highest run-scorer in the tournament and has been in red-hot form with the bat for Pretoria Capitals.
On Monday, he slammed a brilliant half-century against MI Cape Town to lead the Capitals to yet another victory in the ongoing tournament. He scored 62 off just 27 runs, with five fours and five maximums. Pretoria Capitals scored 182/8 in their 20 overs. Then, they dismissed MI Cape Town for just 130 runs to win by 52 runs.
However, more than his inning, one of his sixes is gathering the attention of everyone, where he smashed a straight six off Jofra Archer over his head, which replicated the same shot that Virat Kohli played off Haris Rauf in the 2022 T20 World Cup.
The shot came on the last ball of the 4th over when Archer bowled a short ball and Jack went back a little and then played a shot with a straight bat to smash it over the bowler's head. The video of that shot went viral on social media, and many fans compared it with Virat Kohli's epic six.

Notably, Will Jacks will be part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League, which means he will be playing along side Virat Kohli, and it will be interesting to see how RCB will use Jacks in the batting line-up. Glenn Maxwell is currently injured and will not make it to the team; Jacks might get a good number of games in the IPL 2023.
