"We got to win every game" - David Warner reacts to Delhi Capitals' chances of making it to IPL 2022 Playoffs

So far in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, Delhi Capitals (DC) have won 4 and lost 5 in 9 matches. At present, Delhi sits on the 7th position in the points table.

The team's last match was against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and in that match, the team made a comeback in the middle over but lost the match against Lucknow due to not giving it a good ending. The team's opening batsman David Warner has spoken regarding the team's upcoming matches.

David Warner has so far scored 264 runs in 7 matches with the help of three half-centuries. Apart from him, no player has consistently performed better in the batting department. Warner said that Delhi Capitals have lost number of matches by very small margin. He added that when they are chasing a big target, at the end they lose the match due to some small mistakes.

He further said that that the team is fully prepared for what is to come in the next couple of matches. He added that if they beat the Sunrisers Hyderabad, his former team, it will be easy for them to fight for top 4. "Moving forward from where we are, we've obviously got to win every game to make it to the finals," said Warner.

When Warner was asked a question about Prithvi Shaw's batting, he said that in the match against Lucknow, both of them got out early but in the other matches, they have given Delhi a good start and should continue to do so in the coming matches.
