Virat Kohli, along with Ross Taylor, has joined the elite list of players who have played at least 100 matches for their country in all formats. Let us tell you, Virat Kohli achieved this feat against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022 opener.

Kohli has become the first player in India and second in the world to play 100 or more matches in all three formats. With this, Virat Kohli became the 14th cricketer to have played 100 international T20 matches. He has so far scored 3343 runs in 100 T20 matches at an average of 49.9 and a strike rate of 137.18.

Let us tell you, Virat Kohli made his T20 debut against Zimbabwe on 12th June 2010 and since then he has scored consistently in this format for the Indian team. He is the third highest run scorer in this format. Virat Kohli played his 100th Test match against Sri Lanka and 100th ODI against West Indies. Kohli has scored 12344 runs in ODIs at an average of 57.68, while he has scored 8074 runs in Tests at an average of 49.53.

Before Virat Kohli, Ross Taylor was the only one who had his name in this elite list. Congratulating Virat Kohli, he wrote in his social media post, "Congratulations Virat Kohli on your 100th T20 game for India. Welcome to the club. I look forward to watching many more of your games in the years to come!"

Virat Kohli's form has been very disappointing for some time now. He got starts in many matches but could not convert them into big scores. Kohli was rested for the tour of West Indies and Zimbabwe, after which he was included in the squad for the Asia Cup tournament.

Kohli played a valuable innings of 35 runs in 34 balls against Pakistan. He hit 3 fours and a six in his innings. As long as he was present at the crease, there was pressure on the Pakistan team. However, Mohammad Nawaz took his wicket and got Pakistan back in the match.
