Watch: Rohit Sharma's spontaneous comment on Chahal's future with India leaves the leg-spinner in splits; Video goes viral
After winning the first ODI against New Zealand in Hyderabad, Team India will look to win the second ODI on Saturday. With a 1-0 lead India can seal the series after winning the second ODI itself. The Indian team reached Raipur on Thursday and began practising.
In the first game, it was a close contest that ended in a high-scoring thriller. The hosts edged past New Zealand by a margin of 12 runs. Shubman Gill carried on his red-hot form and smashed his maiden double century to become the fifth Indian to do so.
He also became the youngest player to achieve this rare feat in 50-over cricket. Apart from his, Mohammed Siraj laid the foundation for the win in the second inning while defending the title. He registered a match-winning figure of 4/46 in the match where almost 700 runs were scored and also bowled two maidens.
New Zealand reached a score of 337 after a late blitz from Michael Bracewell and Mitchell Santner (57). Bracewell scored New Zealand's third-fastest ODI century off 57 balls and scored a 78-ball 140 runs. Meanwhile, on the eve of the second game in Raipur, the BCCI posted a video clip on their Twitter handle.
It featured Yuzi Chahal, who was seen giving a tour of the Indian dressing room. During the video, a funny comment made by Indian captain Rohit Sharma about Chahal's future caught everyone's attention.
The veteran pacer showed the message table and said, "Yeh humara massage table hai. Jab bhi kisi ko back relief ya koi treatment chahiye hota hai, toh vo iss table pe hota hai. (This is our massage table. Whenever someone needs back relief or any kind of treatment, then it is given on this table.)"

However, the Indian skipper appeared suddenly and said, "Acha future hai tera. (Your future is bright.)" Rohit's response caught Chahal in fits of laughter, and he couldn't stop his laughter. The veteran leg-spinner was part of the first ODI against Sri Lanka but was benched after that.
