"Australia will have to get better of him to win the series"- Marcus Stoinis names Australia's biggest threat ahead of BGT Series
India and Australia will lock horns in the Border Gavaskar Trophy starting on February 9 in Nagpur. This series will see two top-ranked test teams facing off against each other. Both teams have delivered many exciting contests.

Thus, the upcoming series is expected to be another blockbuster of an event between the two. Australia won their last test series in India way back in 2003, and it's been 19 years since Australia has won a test series on Indian soil.

But this time, the visitors are looking fully prepared to win only their second test series in India. Many former cricketers have backed Australia to win the series, but for that, they will have to go through a few hurdles. However, the presence of Virat Kohli will be one of those for sure.

The former Indian captain is a key member of the team, and his presence can create doubt in the minds of the opposition. With no Rishabh Pant in the middle order, Virat might have an added responsibility on his shoulders, and everyone knows how well he performs when the pressure is immense, and Australia always brings the best out of him.

Star Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis also feels the same. In an interaction with Boria Show on the Backstage, Stoinis said that Virat is a one-of-a-kind player and big players like him always choose a big stage to step up and perform. He also said that Australia will have to get better than Virat if they want to win the series.

Stoinis said, "Virat is one of the best ever. He will want to use this series as his platform. The best players always choose the best series. We have seen in T20 World Cup how good he was. He is certainly one who can push us (Australia) back and we will have to get the better of him win the series."

The Australian all-rounder also pointed out that Bumrah and Pant will surely be missed by India. He said that inures are part of the game, but both Bumrah and Pant bring a different skillset to the table, which India will miss in the upcoming series.
