"Australians love to hate him"- Jozh Hazlewood's huge revelation about Indian star whom Australia finds hard to dismiss

Team India has been a dominating team in the longest format in the last 5–6 years. They are the only team to beat Australia in four consecutive test series, which have given a push to the new modern-day rivalry between India and Australia.

These two teams have produced a number of memorable matches in the last decade or so and have been a treat to watch among cricket lovers. It has certainly increased the competitiveness when these two teams play against each other. Even the players from both sides find it difficult when these two teams face off.

However, the Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood reckons that one Indian batter has always become a headache for the Australian team whenever he comes to the crease. Hazlewood, who is part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the coming season, is preparing with the team.

On Tuesday, in the RCB podcast, he revealed the name of an Indian star whom the Australian batter loves to hate. He said it is the veteran Indian batter, Cheteshwar Pujara, whom Australians find difficult to dismiss. Pujara recently completed his 100th test in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023. He has played 102 Tests and scored 7154 runs at 43.88, including 19 centuries and 35 half-centuries.

Hazlewood said, "It's a bigger thrill for the bowlers (to dismiss Pujara). I think when you do end up getting his wicket, it means you have earned it. He's someone I've had some great tussles over the years, and, in particular, in Australia. He's someone Australians love to hate but he's a fantastic player and I guess that is part of Test cricket. When you do get him out, you've earned it."

Furthermore, the Australian pacer was not part of the recently concluded BGT seires due to his injury, His participation in the IPL 2023 is also under doubt. He was the second-highest wicket-taker for them in 2022 with 20 wickets in 12 games with a best of 4/25.
