Notably, these two teams have met once in the IPL final in the 2020 season, and it was MI that won it. MI has won a total of five times in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020, while DC is searching for their maiden title. DC faced a huge blow after skipper Rishabh Pant suffered a horrible car accident and got ruled out.
