"His records speaks of itself"- Rahul Dravid on Virat Kohli's hot-cold batting form

Virat Kohli is certainly among the most aggressive and passionate cricketers on the field. Whether batting or fielding, he maintains the same level of intensity, which lifts the team and the fans on the field regardless of the match situation.

India's head coach, Rahul Dravid, is also pretty impressed with Virat's intensity on the ground or during training and his understanding of the game when to take charge of the proceedings. Virat, who was struggling with his form, came into his own in the Asia Cup 2022 earlier this year.

He carried that form into the 2022 T20 World Cup and ended the tournament as the highest run-getter with four half-centuries. Earlier this week, the former Indian skipper also scored his 44th ODI century in the third ODI against Bangladesh.

Dravid also lauded the 33-year-old for that. In a video released on the website of the BCCI, Dravid was seen discussing Virat Kohli. He claims the 33-year-old knows when to accelerate and when to maintain control.

Dravid said, "Virat knows when to be aggressive and when to control the game. He feels he's back and is training as hard as I have ever seen him. that never changes irrespective of whether he is doing well or not and that is a great lesson for a lot of the young players in the group.

Furthermore, the Indian head coach also said that he has always seen Virat train hard, irrespective of his form or anything else. He also believes that modern-day teams have become more aggressive in the longest format in order to achieve better results.

He said that a lot more results are coming because teams have changed their approaches. Dravid also pointed out that the teams that can switch as per the situations in the game itself will dominate the longest format in the coming years.
