Meanwhile, the commentators were even laughing at that after watching Kohli mock the Bangladeshi batter. Batting first, Bangladesh scored 227 runs in their first inning, with Mominul Haque scoring 84 runs. Ravi Ashwin and Umesh Yadav took four wickets for India.

In reply, India scored 214 runs. Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer played good knocks for India. Pant missed a well-deserved century and got out for 93 runs, while Iyer scored his second 80-plus score in two innings in this series. He was out for 87 runs.

For the hosts, Shakib Al Hasan and Tajiul Islam took four wickets each. Bangladesh ended Day 2 with 7 runs in 6 overs. India has picked up four wickets in the morning session on Day 3 and will look to wrap up as early as possible.
