Watch: "Shirt bhi khol le apna"- Virat Kohli mocks Bangladeshi batter Shanto for wasting time ahead of stumps on Day 2
India and Bangladesh are playing the second and final game at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. And after winning the first game, the visitors are dominating the second game as well. India took a first-inning lead of 87 runs.
After the end of the first session on Day 3, the hosts are trailing by another 16 runs and are at 73/4. The Indians are also looking quite eager on the field to finish the game as soon as possible. And when Virat Kohli is on the field, it is very hard to keep him quiet.
One such incident took place just before the end of Day 2. Kohli was seen getting annoyed with the Bangladeshi batters for taking too much time as the lights got darker. As a result, the former Indian captain was seen yelling angrily at the Bangladeshi batter to remove their shirt as well in order to take more time.
Najmul Hossain On the fifth ball of the sixth over, Shanto went down to tie his laces for the show, and the umpires called stumps for the second day after that over. Virat was unhappy with that and said to Shanto, "Shirt bhi khol le apna" (Open your shirt as well)."
