"Gaadi araam se chalaya kar"- Old video of Shikhar Dhawan suggesting Rishabh Pant drive slowly goes viral
On Friday, India's wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant met with a horrible car accident while going to his home town of Haridwar, Roorkee, from Delhi. But on his way, he met with a horrific accident and was lucky to survive.
He suffered from a ligament tear in his right knee, two cuts on his forehead, and some injuries to his ankle, toe, right wrist, and back, including bruises. He dogged off while driving and lost control, and it collided with a divider, which resulted in it catching fire.
The 25-year-old received numerous well wishes from both the cricketing community and those outside the game. However, at the same moment, one past video is going viral on the internet, featuring Pant and Shikhar Dhawan.
This video clip is from an interview segment during the Indian Premier League, when Dhawan played for the Delhi Capitals. In the video, Pant is seen asking Dhawan for any advice he would like to give him. Answering that, the veteran opener replied, "Any? Gaadi araam se chalaya kar (Drive a bit more slowly)," and both started laughing.
