He suffered from a ligament tear in his right knee, two cuts on his forehead, and some injuries to his ankle, toe, right wrist, and back, including bruises. He dogged off while driving and lost control, and it collided with a divider, which resulted in it catching fire.

The 25-year-old received numerous well wishes from both the cricketing community and those outside the game. However, at the same moment, one past video is going viral on the internet, featuring Pant and Shikhar Dhawan.

This video clip is from an interview segment during the Indian Premier League, when Dhawan played for the Delhi Capitals. In the video, Pant is seen asking Dhawan for any advice he would like to give him. Answering that, the veteran opener replied, "Any? Gaadi araam se chalaya kar (Drive a bit more slowly)," and both started laughing.

The 25-year-old is currently admitted at the Max Hotel in Dehradun, and as per the doctors, he is out of danger. He got emergency treatment in Roorkee at the Saksham Hospital. Pant was also part of the recently concluded test series against Bangladesh.

The accident took place around 5:30 a.m. in the morning. The Haryana Roadways driver, Sushil Maan, and other locals helped him get out of the car.

As per the latest medical reports by the BCCI, Pant is out of danger and will undergo a mandatory MRI scan to ascertain the extent of his injuries. He received wishes from PM Narendra Modi, cricketers like Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and other.
