"He could be next Babar or Virat"- Ex-Pak captain makes a huge prediction for England's IPL star

Many batting legends have dominated the game all over the world. Over the years, many batting superstars have proven their worth time and time again. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is arguably the best player from the last decade to play this game.

On the other hand, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam is also going in that direction and has been on top in the last 2-3 years across all formats. Thus, without a doubt, these two are among the best batters in modern-day cricket, having performed consistently across all three formats.

Thus, the comparison between these two batting icons has become quite normal now. These two have set the batting benchmark pretty high in this game. Meanwhile, there are some youngsters who have also put up an impressive show in recent times.

One such name that has impressed everyone in 2022 is English star Harry Brook, who has done a tremendous job for his country across all three formats and has a promising cricket future in the coming years for England. Former Pakistani skipper Rashid Latif also reckons this and made a huge comment on Brook's career.

In an interaction on the YouTube channel "Caught Behind," Rashid praised the 23-year-old English star and said that he could be the next Babar Azam or Virat Kohli if he continues to play like he has. Brook made his T20I debut last year but caught the attention of the world with three centuries in three tests against Pakistan.

Rashid said, "If you look at Brook’s performance then in the last couple of innings he was just outstanding. He just doesn’t stop. He also became one of the most expensive overseas players in IPL auction. Brook is now one of the best players in the world at the moment, among the current crop of players. He could be the next Babar Azam or Virat Kohli."

Brook is currently playing for England in the ongoing three-match ODI series. Although he got out on a three-ball duck in the first ODI, which was his debut game, in the second match he smashed 80 runs off 75 balls. He was picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad at the IPL auction for a price of INR 13.35 crore.
