"Pakistan Has Always Given India Tough Time"- Ex-PAK pacer on Pakistan's chances against India in 2023 ODI WC

Team India will take on New Zealand in the third and final T20I game on Tuesday at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Both teams have won one match each, and this will be the series decider. India has already whitewashed the Black Caps in the three one-day internationals.

But the batters haven't performed well according to standards in the first two games. India even struggled to chase down the target of 100 runs in the second T20I. Meanwhile, their performances in the ODIs were totally different. India was scoring 350 or above on a regular basis.

India has won six out of six ODIs in 2023 and has had a great start to their preparations for the upcoming ODI World Cup in India. The Men in Blue have always enjoyed great amount of success against Pakistan in the ODI World Cups.

They have beaten their archrivals in all the matches they have faced. And with the 2023 edition to take place in India, it will be a great chance for them to carry on this winning streak against Pakistan in ODI World Cups. Former Pakistan pacer Aaqib Javed, on the other hand, believes India will struggle against Pakistan this time.

In an interview with Geo Tv, he said, 'Pakistan has always given India a tough time. Although recently India scored a lot of runs against New Zealand in the ODI series. But the bowling of Pakistan is not the bowling of New Zealand. Pakistan cricket team is better in ODI cricket. If Pakistan scores 300 runs, then it will be very difficult for the other team to chase it down."

India and Pakistan have faced each other seven times in the ODI World Cup. And it is India that has won all seven games, while Pakistan is yet to win a game in the ODI World Cup.
