"He will become the next Rashid Khan"- Suresh Raina makes a big prediction on young Indian leggie

The game of cricket has seen many brilliant spinners that have dominated the game over the years. Several legendary spinners have taken this game and performed excellently. But when it comes to modern-day cricket, not many can match the skills of Afghan star Rashid Khan.

The 24-year-old is the best modern-day spinner in the game. He has proved time and time again how worthful he is for his team, wherever he plays. Team India has also some good spinners in the game.

The likes of Ravi Ashwin, Yuzi Chahal, and Kuldeep Yadav are among the top spinners today. However, there is one more name that hasn't got many chances yet but has the caliber of making it big. That's what former Indian star Suresh Raina feels. According to the southpaw, young Indian leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi has got everything to become successful in the coming years.

He also went on to say that Bishnoi can become the next Rashid Khan in the game. Raine said on Joi Cinema during the "Legends Lounge" program. He was along with other former cricketers like RP Singh, Robin Uthappa, Pragyan Ojha, and Parthiv Patel, who were discussing future stars for India.

Raina said, "If you see all the big bowlers who have earned their stripes in Test cricket, I think Bishnoi with his character and way of delivering the ball, will become someone like Rashid Khan.”

Notably, Bishnoi made his debut for India against West Indies on February 16, 2022 in a T20I game. So far, he has played 10 T20Is and 1 ODI game, picking up 16 and 1 wicket respectively.

For his second pick the southpaw picked left-armer Arshdeep Singh for a future Indian star. Ohja named Tilak Verma and SRH's all-rounder Abhishek Sharma while RP Singh picked Yashasvi Jaiswal and Arshdeep as his top pick.
