Amid all the franchise T20 leagues taking place at the moment, the International League T20 (ILT20) has come out as one of the most entertaining leagues. The inaugural season of the ILT20 is underway in the UAE, and a total of six teams are competing in the competition.
It has reached the business end of the league. So far, it has produced many entertaining moments throughout the competition. And one incredible moment took place on Thursday in the 25th game of the tournament between the Dubai Capitals and the Desert Vipers at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.
And this time, Sherfane Rutherford has shown the full range of his shot and smashed Yusuf Pathan for five sixes in an over. He led the Vipers to a win by 22 runs. Rutherford smashed 50 runs off 23 balls, including six sixes.
It started with the Capitals winning the toss and deciding to bowl first. The Vipers were 112/4 in the 15 overs when Rutherford joined Sam Billing at the crease. Billings took a single on the first ball of the 16th over, and then Rutherford ripped Yusuf to shreds with five consecutive sixes off the last five balls of the over.

They scored 31 runs from that over to take the score of 143. In the end, the Vipers scored a total of 182/7 in their 20 overs. Billings also played a good hand and scored 54 off 48 balls, with four boundaries and one six.
Yusuf Pathan ended up with a bowling figure of 1/48. Chasing the target, the Capitals didn't have much contributions in the middle from the batters. As a result, they only reached 160/7 in 20 overs and lost the game. The Vipers led by Colin Munro, are at the top of the table with seven wins out of nine games and a NRR of +0.587.
