Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals were involved in a high-scoring game on Saturday. Although CSK set a stiff total of 190 for RR, the men from Jaipur chased the total down with 15 deliveries to spare. In this article, we tell you one player whom MS Dhoni revealed as he missed the most during the game against Rajasthan Royals.

A high-scoring game after a long time

The first inning of the encounter was all about the brilliance of CSK opener Ruturaj Gaikwad. Although he started relatively slow, in the middle-overs, he was brutal in his shot-making. He took most of the bowlers apart with his timing. He got his first IPL century in the game. Ravindra Jadeja also added quick runs in the back end. CSK eventually posted a total of 189 on the board.

Based on results from previous games, anyone might have guessed that RR would find it hard to chase the score. However, the RR openers started brilliantly and set up the game within the powerplay itself. Later on, Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube finished the game for the franchise.

MS Dhoni reveals the player he missed the most against RR

Last game, CSK qualified for the playoffs and hence, a few changes were expected for the match against RR. Deepak Chahar, who has been CSK's best bowler in this season, was rested and KM Asif was brought to the XI.

Evin Lewis and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 27(12) and 50(21) respectively and put the bowlers under the pump within the first few overs. Dhoni felt that had Deepak been part of the XI, this could have been avoided. He said that Deepak was good with the new ball in the previous games, and the initial blitz by RR could have been dealt with. Deepak, though, could return for the next game because CSK would want to nail down one of the Top 2 spots.
