"Don't like trophies"- Ex-MI Star hits back at RCB fan who tries to troll him
Royal Challengers Bangalore locked horns with Rajasthan Royals in the 32nd game of the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. With two good teams facing each other, everyone expected a nail-biting contest.

In the end, fans saw another final-over finish, and this time it was Bangalore that kept cool and pulled off a 7-run win over the table-topper RR. Although it didn't start well for Bangalore, they lost the toss and put into bat first.

RCB lost the wicket of Virat Kohli on the first ball of the game; it was Trent Boult who trapped him LBW. After that, Boult also dismissed Shahbaz Ahmed (2) in his second over of the inning. RCB was at 2/12 in 2.1 overs. But then came a match-turning partnership for the third wicket.

It was once again Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell who added another 100-run partnership and made 127 runs for the third wicket in just 11.1 overs. Du Plessis scored 62 off 39, with 8 fours and two sixes, while Maxwell hit a 44-ball 77, including six fours and four boundaries.

That partnership helped RCB reach a challenging total of 189/9. In fact, that proved to be a winning one for the home team in the end. Reacting to the superb partnership, former MI pacer Mitchell McClenaghan took to his Twitter account and praised both batters. He tweeted, "While I'm not RCB fan - I'm a Faf and Maxwell fan. Damn these guys are playing beautifully."

However, a RCB seemed to not like the tweet at first and replied, "We RCBIANS don't want fans like u Mitch." But McClenaghan was also quick to reply and hit back at the trolls. He replied, "Don't like trophies?"

McClenaghan was part of MI when they won the IPL in 2015 and 2017. He took 18 wickets in 12 games in 2015 and 19 wickets in 14 games in 2017. Speaking of the game, RR tried hard but only reached 182/6. Maxwell won the "Man of the Match." With this win, RCB has gained two more points and moved into fifth place.
