Elon Musk's Coincidental Tweet Goes Viral After Maxwell's Stunning Show Against Rajasthan

Elon Musk

Elon Musk is one of the most popular figures on the planet. He has a wide follower base on social media. Usually, he talks about science and technology on his handles. On very few occasions, he takes up sports or sometimes politics. Cricket-related matters, though, Elon Musk does not talk much about it. Of course, he might not be that much aware of the game. However, after the Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore game recently, Elon Musk posted a tweet that coincidentally matched with the circumstances of the IPL encounter. Hence, the tweet went viral instantly.

Glenn Maxwell helps RCB win the second consecutive game

Despite not doing well in the last few IPL seasons, Glenn Maxwell has turned up well for RCB in this campaign. He is scoring runs freely and this is helping Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers to perform under lesser pressure. With the ball, too, Maxi is contributing well.

Against Rajasthan, Maxwell hit a half-century and ensured RCB chased the total of 150 without any hiccups. In the bowling innings, he had bowled two overs and had given 17 runs. Hence, Maxwell had a good outing.

Elon Musk tweeted that Maxwell was incredible!

Around the time that the game finished, usually, we expect the cricket pundits and fans tweeting about the game. However, out of nowhere, a tweet by Elon Musk, saying that Maxwell was incredible, went viral.

Musk was actually reacting to a post that talked about popular physicist James Clerk Maxwell. However, he used only the surname "Maxwell". Hence, fans went instantly to Musk's account and made use of the situation to strike a few more jokes. Even Australian journalist Chloe-Amanda Bailey understood the lighter side of the situation and tweeted, "Yes sir. We all just saw the RCB match too."
