Evin Lewis picks his all-time T20 XI; selects AB de Villiers and Starc

West Indies cricket team’s star opening batter Evin Lewis recently selected his all-time T20 playing XI. The left-handed batter joined the Rajasthan Royals earlier this year as a replacement signing ahead of the second phase of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League. 

Lewis performed brilliantly for the Rajasthan Royals team. However, he could not take his team to the playoffs. In a recent clip uploaded by the Rajasthan Royals team on their official social media handles, Evin Lewis formed his all-time T20 XI. 

Some of the biggest names of world cricket feature in Evin Lewis’ all-time T20 XI. So, without further ado, let’s have a look at his team. 

All-time T20 XI of Evin Lewis 

Evin Lewis started the list of players with two destructive openers, namely Chris Gayle and Rohit Sharma. These are two players with whom Lewis has shared the dressing room with. Lewis and Gayle have played multiple matches together for the West Indies cricket team, while Rohit Sharma and Lewis played in the IPL together for the Mumbai Indians. 

The number three batter of this team was none other than the captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli. Virat’s Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate AB de Villiers was at number four, with Lewis’ West Indies captain Kieron Pollard at the fifth position. 

MS Dhoni was named the captain and wicket-keeper of this team, while Ravindra Jadeja and Andre Russell completed the all-rounders’ section.
