Shreyas Iyer surpasses Virat Kohli to become fastest Indian to achieve this milestone
India has been a batting-dominant team across formats. Over the years, it is India's top-order, who used to perform for Team India. However, now that the top order appears to be struggling, India has discovered a really good performer in the middle order.

Iyer is also the highest run-scorer for India in the ongoing three-match series against Bangladesh. In fact, he scored an important 82 runs. And during his innings, he also broke a big record in Indian cricket.
Iyer has now become the fastest Indian batter to score 1500 runs in One-day internationals. He scored 82 runs off 102 balls with six fours and three sixes in his inning in the second ODI. Although India lost the game in the end by five runs, he has yet again proven his consistency.
