Harbhajan Singh posts a cryptic message on Twitter after fans slammed him for taking a dig at MS Dhoni

Chennai Super Kings’ off-spinner Harbhajan Singh opted out of IPL 2020 because of personal reasons. The veteran player had represented the Mumbai Indians in the first ten years of the Indian Premier League, while he became a part of the Chennai-based franchise in 2018.

Harbhajan lifted the IPL trophy in 2018 with the Chennai Super Kings, while in 2019, he finished at the runner-up position with the team. However, his recent behavior on social media has not received positive remarks from the fans.

Earlier this week, Harbhajan had retweeted a tweet of a video where MS Dhoni’s angry gesture possibly led to the umpire changing his mind over a wide ball. While the incident was controversial, Singh added laughing emojis to his tweet when a user had posted this video in reply to Abdul Samad’s photo with MS Dhoni.

It seems like Harbhajan took note of the negative comments towards his views as he posted a cryptic tweet on the micro-blogging social media site earlier today. Here’s what the 2011 World Cup winning player wrote:

“I learned a long ago never to Wrestle with a pig....You get dirty, and beside, the pig likes it.”

While the exact intention behind this tweet is not clear, one can assume that this is related to the current controversy involving the Chennai Super Kings and MS Dhoni. The CSK fans have once again slammed him for his tweet as one of the users wrote that the quotation written by Harbhajan was the reason why Dhoni never replied to his indirect jibes.

Besides, one of the users recalled an incident from IPL 2008, when Harbhajan had slapped Sreesanth. Again, the user that the quotation was the reason behind Sreesanth not slapping him back that night. Even some Dhoni fans believed that Harbhajan was jealous of Thala.
