Arshdeep Singh breaks stumps twice in IPL 2023
Arshdeep is always known for his fiery deliveries. When he bowls yorkers, the pace is high and the batters fail to tackle it on most occasions. Although the deliveries were close to the slot against MI batters, they were high on pace and they could not be tackled by the batters.
The balls hit the stumps and the middle stump broke into two on two occasions. This also happened on consecutive deliveries. This has not happened a lot of times in the past.

The IPL uses LED stumps. The bails also have sensors that light up as soon as it is dislodged from the position. There is also a stump camera located at the bottom of the stick, although that does not come with the stumps.
As per reports, the total set of the stumps cost a total of INR 30 Lakhs. Usually, batters make umpires bring out extra balls by hitting them out of the park and this time, it was a bowler making the umpires bring out something else extra.
