The 6th edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League. In the 6th match of the season, Ruby Trichy Warriors took on Dream Tiruppur Tamizhans at the Indian Cement Company Ground, Tirunelveli, on Monday. This match saw the excellent comeo of the veteran Indian batter, Murali Vijay, to the TNPL.
Vijay played in the 2019 season of the TNPL and, after a gap of two years, he made his comeback for Ruby Trichy Warriors against Dindigul Dragons, but couldn't do much in the first match. He only scored 8 runs off 13 balls.
But in the second match against Dream Tiruppur Tamizhans, he showed why he is rated so highly. Opening the batting, he smashed 34 runs off just 16 balls, including six boundaries and one six. He gave his team a flying start but got out after playing a brilliant cameo.
He scored 30 runs out of 34 in bounaries and hit all the bowlers to all parts of the ground. Especially in the second over of the innings. Aswin Crist came out to bowl, and Vijay hit him for three fours and one six in that over. Check out the highlight package of Murali Vijay.

The 38-year-old was also part of the four-time IPL champions, Chennai Super Kings, till 2020. But after that, he didn't take part in the IPL. Speaking of the match, batting first, Ruby Trichy Warriors made 157/6 in their 20 overs.
Chasing the target, IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans had a horrible start as they lost their both openers within two overs at a score of 17 runs. But in the end, a brilliant unbeaten 60-run partnership for the 7th wicket between Tushar Raheja and M Mohammed helped them to win the match.
Raheja hit 42 off 26 balls, including four boundaries and two sixes, while Mohammed hit 29 off 15 balls, including two fours and two sixes. With this win, IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans have started their campaign with a win. On the other hand, the Ruby Trichy Warriors have one win and one loss under their belt.
