After dominating in the first three days of the fifth and final Test, India are now on the verge of losing this match. On the other hand, England are now on the brink of chasing their biggest target in the history of Test cricket. The visiting team lost all momentum on the fourth day of the match.

Firstly, starting the day at 125/3, India got all out for just 245 runs in their second innings. England were set to chase the target of 376 and they started in an aggressive manner. Both openers, who were struggling so far, added a quick 107-run partnership for the opening wickets in just 21.4 overs.

However, India came back brilliantly in the match as they picked up three wickets for just two, and from 107/0, England were reduced to 109/3. But then came the match-turning unbeaten partnership of 150 runs between Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root.

Both batters played well and scored boundaries at will, and the visitors now appear to be struggling. It will need a miracle to win this match from this position. England need just 119 runs on Day 5 with seven wickets in hand. Root is playing on 76*, while Bairstow, who scored a century in the first innings, is on 72*.

Both batters looked in great touch and carried on their rich form and didn't allow any Indian bowler to settle down. They didn't give any chances to Indian bowlers. But then the moment of some hope came on the 4th delivery of the 38th over by Siraj.

The pacer bowled a wide delivery and Bairstow, who was batting at 39*, poked at it and got the outside edge. The ball flew to the third slip, where Hanuma Vihari was fielding. He got both hands to the ball but couldn't catch it and the ball popped out of his hands and went to the boundary.

That was the moment that changed the match. It proved to be a costly drop for India, because after that, Bairstow and Root added another 100 runs to the total. And now, it is looking like India will lose this match. The fans were not able to control their emotions and showed their anger on Twitter.
