The match ended with a thrilling finish, with India holding their nerve to pull off a tricky chase courtesy of a brilliant cameo from Hardik Pandya (33* off 17). Ravindra Jadeja (35) and Virat Kohli (35) also made vital contributions.
India will now play Hong Kong on Wednesday, August 31 at Dubai International Stadium. India and Pakistan are likely to face yet another match in the Group Four stage on Sunday, September 4.
