"One Step at a time" - Ravindra Jadeja shares an injury update after his knee injury

India suffered a huge set-back when star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja sustained a knee injury and was ruled out of the Asai Cup 2022 in mid-way. It didn't go well with the Indian team's performance, and they were kicked out of the tournament after two consecutive losses against Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

It will not be a wrong statement to say that the exclusion of Jadeja has ruined the balance of the Indian team, as shown in the games during the Asia Cup. However, the all-rounder will miss the upcoming action for at least 5–6 weeks and is also not part of the Indian squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Jadeja, who performed well in the first two games he played in the Asia Cup. In the first group match against Pakistan, he played an important knock of 35 runs to help India chase down the target.

Then in the second game against Hong Kong, he bowled his four overs for 1/15 and also had an important run-out during the fielding. But unfortunately, he sustained the injury during the adventourous activities done by the Indian team on the off-day.

However, the all-rounder has gone through a successful knee injury in Mumbai, after he came back from the UAE. And now, he himself has shared an update on his recovery from the injury. He shared a picture of himself on his Instagram handle, standing with crutches. He wrote, "One step at a time."

Some reports also suggested that the Indian cricket board was not happy with the way Jadeja got injured and were looking for an explanation from the staff. His exclusion caused a lot of confusion on the Indian side during the "Super Four" stage of the Asia Cup.

The Indian thinktank replaced him with Deepak Hooda, but he didn't bowl much in the games he played. That's why many former cricketers and cricket pundits reckon that India will surely miss the services of Ravindra Jadeja.
