On Tuesday, some media reports confirmed that the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) offered both the Indian (BCC) and Pakistan (PCB) boards the opportunity to host a Test series between the two nations in England. And since this news was announced, it has created chaos on social media.

Everyone was talking about the same thing. It was because India and Pakistan haven't played a bilateral series since 2012. Both teams played a white-ball series in 2012, and the last test series was played in 2007. However, these two teams play in the multi-national tournaments only.

Thus, the weight of a match between India and Pakistan is always high, and it will not be a wrong statement to say that a match between these two teams always becomes the centre of attraction in any tournament.

According to ESPN Cricinfo, ECB Deputy Chairman Martin Darlow suggested this to PCB Chairman Ramiz Raza during their T20I series visit to England. The fans have begun to look forward to India and Pakistan playing in Test once more since the news began to circulate.

Moreover, Iceland Cricket's official Twitter account offered a rather humorous explanation of the situation. The Iceland Cricket team responded to England's recommendation by making a counter offer while making fun of the English weather.

The Iceland Cricket tweeted, "We hear @ECB_cricket have offered to host a Test series between India and Pakistan. We officially announce to @ICC that we are also offering to do the same & can provide near 24 hour daylight in June and July, as well as better Tweets covering the matches. Sniper security too."

 They didn't stop here, and Iceland Cricket also hilariously trolled the Ashes series between England and Australia. The admin further tweeted, "This is the Volcanic Ashes trophy for when Pakistan play India in a 3 Test series here. It's currently given to the winners of our indoor club tournament, but we can create a new mickey mouse event & trophy for them. Filled with ash from our eruptions & set in a basaltic base."
