India and Pakistan are engaged in their respective T20I series at their homes. India hosted Australia for a three-match T20I series, which they won 2-1, and now will face South Africa in another three-match T20I series at home starting on September 28.

On the other hand, Babar Azam and his men are playing in a seven-match T20I series against England at home, which is levelled at 2-2 with three games to play. With these matches for both teams, the race to be at the top is also getting intense.

As per the latest ICC rankings, India's "Mr. 360" batter, Suryakumar Yadav, has jumped two spots up to second place in the latest ICC T20I batsmen rankings. He is now only behind Pakistan's wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan, who is at the top.

SKY hit 69 off 36 balls against Australia in the third and final T20I, including five fours and five sixes, which helped him surpass Pakistan skipper Babar Azam in the latest rankings. The 32-year-old ended as India's leading run-scorer against Australia in a three-match series.

He also played a cameo of 46 off 25 in the first T20I as well. Rizwan is at the top with 861 rating points, while SKY is second with 801 points. Babar Azam has slipped to third with 799, while Aiden Markram, who will play three T20Is against India, is in fourth with 792 points.

Apart from SKY, former Indian captain Virat Kohli, who scored 63 runs in the third T20I against Australia, has risen one spot to 15th place, surpassing Afghanistan batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz. India's opener KL Rahul, who scored a half-century in the first match, couldn't carry on the form in the last two matches.

He was dismissed cheaply, and thus he slipped to the 22nd spot. Veteran Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who didn't have a great series, dropped one spot down to 10th in the latest T20I bowlers' rankings, while Axar Patel, who won the "Man of the Series" with 8 wickets, has jumped 11 spots up to 18th place.
