India in a huge trouble, Jasprit Bumrha ruled out of T20 World Cup 2022

The upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 is not far away, and the mega event will kick off on October 16 with a match between Sri Lanka and Namibia. India will start their campaign with a match against archrivals Pakistan on October 23 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

However, India is already dealing with so many fitness issues. Now India faces the biggest possible blow ahead of the T20 World Cup. Ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup due to a back stress fracture.

According to some media reports, a BCCI source confirmed that the ace pacer has been ruled out of the T20 WC that will start next month. Notably, Bumrah also missed the first T20I game against South Africa on September 28th due to a back problem.

The medical staff of the BCCI is keeping an eye on him. However, given that Bumrah may need about four weeks to recover, it is likely that the selectors will need to find a replacement.

Notably, he is the second senior player that will miss the ICC event after Ravindra Jadeja, who suffered a knee injury during the Asia Cup. Mohammad Shami, who tested positive for COVID a week ago, has not fully recovered and will most likely miss the T20 World Cup.

Well, the Indian bowling is already looking weak, and without Bumrah, it might not be easy for Team India to do well in the upcoming tournament. However, it is not officially confirmed. It all depends on how he recovers in the upcoming days. Notably, the final team for the T20 WC must be submitted by October 6 to the ICC.
