Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif made fun of Team India after semi-final loss vs ENG

India's trophy drought has gotten bigger after a humiliating loss against England in the second semi-final of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 on Thursday. Rohit Sharma and his men suffered a 10-wicket loss at the hands of England at Adelaide Oval.

With this loss, Team India has been kicked out of the competition. India failed to take even a single wicket from the English team, and they went on to chase 170 runs in just 16 overs, with both openers scoring unbeaten 80s. Alex Hales made an unbeaten 86* off 47, while skipper Jos Buttler scored 80 not out off 49 balls.

They put on a 170-run partnership to take the game away from India. With this, the Men in Blue have added an unwanted record to their name. India is the only team now that has lost twice by a margin of 10 wickets in T20 World Cup history.

The first 10-wicket loss came in the last edition in the UAE, when Pakistan thrashed India in a group game and made 152/0 to win the game. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan put up that 152-run stand to win the game for India.

After India's semi-final loss against England, the Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also took a dig at the Indian team. He shared a post on his official Twitter account to poke fun at Team India.

With this win, England will now lock horns in the final of the tournament on November 13 (Sunday) at the most iconic ground, Melbourne Cricket Ground. And Pakistan's PM tweeted, "So, this Sunday, it’s: 152/0 vs 170/0 #T20WorldCup."

He reminded the fans of last year's defeat by tweeting that both teams, who will play in the final, defeated India by 10 wickets in the T20 World Cup. Although the cricket fraternity was hoping for an IND-PAK final, they showed once again why they are the best white-ball side at the moment.
