"I have never seen him this happy in almost 10 years" - Prithi Ashwin reacts to husband Ravichandran's photo
Ravichandran Ashwin has made a fantastic return to the international arena. Donning the whites for the Indian cricket team in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Ashwin has led the spin attack from the front.
The right-arm off-spinner has tormented former Australian captain Steve Smith in this series. He became the first Indian bowler to dismiss him for a duck in Test cricket. Recently, the Indian cricket team won the Melbourne Test match against Australia.
Ashwin and the other bowlers did a fantastic job. Ajinkya Rahane captained the Indian cricket team to perfection as they avenged the 8-wicket loss in Adelaide with an 8-wicket victory in Melbourne.
After the match, Ravichandran Ashwin posed for a photo at the MCG Honors board along with his teammates Jasprit Bumrah, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, Umesh Yadav, and Ravindra Jadeja. All the Indian cricket team stars had a unique pose in this picture.
Ravichandran captioned the picture as follows:
“When your backs are against the wall, lean back, and enjoy the support of the wall! Well done to the entire team and what a win it was!”
Ashwin’s wife Prithi was in awe of her husband’s smile as she mentioned that she had never seen him so happy in the last ten years. Prithvi retweeted Ravichandran Ashwin’s tweet on the micro-blogging platform and wrote:
"I have seen/ spoken to Ashwin after every Test he has played and after a lot of wins. But I have never seen him this happy, satisfied and light (can I say?) with a smile in his eyes in almost 10 years."

The Indian cricket team will now lock horns with the Australian cricket team at the Sydney Cricket Ground in the third Test on January 7, 2021. David Warner, Will Pucovski, and Rohit Sharma will likely return to the cricket field in that Test match.
