I want to retire with the Royal Challengers Bangalore: Yuzvendra Chahal

Virat Kohli and BCCI took the whole Cricketing fraternity with a shock following their announcement of the Indian side. The management revealed the list of 15 players for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021. Few of the highly recommended names were excluded from that squad. Yuzvendra Chahal is the one such star who's absence from the list can be easily witnessed.

Chahal lost his place to the youngster Rahul Chahar who prefers to bowl quick while doing the leg spin. Whereas Chahal on the other hand is a slow spinner which created the benefit for the Mumbai Indians' star.

However, this list isn't final yet as the phase 2 of IPL 2021 can be the game changer. Recently after Chahal's exclusion he gave an interview and spoke a lot about his IPL franchise Royal Challengers Banglore. The leg spinner was very motivated to perform his best in the upcoming matches.

Few fans feel that Chahal might be released next year from RCB squad and will be participating in the mega auction. To that Yuzi stated, "Talks like those are always on. And it's always been in my mind that if and when I retire, it should be with RCB. It was only after I came to RCB that my life changed. So, obviously, I want to retire with the RCB and it will always be my dream that whenever I play in the IPL, it is for RCB."

Yuzi has the last chance in form of IPL to get his place in the 15 men squad.

The spinner further went on to add that his entire focus is currently on regaining his body strength post covid 19. After that, his immediate goal is to perform his level best in IPL 2021. With UAE favoring turning pitches, it would be worth watching to see how chahal performs keeping the WC 2021 spot in mind.
